Don’t Shoot The Messenger: An Update On Tenofovir Research examines how controversies surrounding clinical trials of tenofovir have brought a number of festering issues in international clinical research to public attention. We reiterate the recommendations we made earlier in the year, including better coordination among disparate trials and multiple sponsors and more planning and preparation for making tenofovir globally accessible if it is widely licensed for use as PREP.

Advocates’ Work Is Never Done looks back at the road we have traveled for the last decade and ahead to where the field, and we as advocates, may be headed. We lay out our vision of where the science is and ask other advocates to work with us to marshal the politics, human-to-human communication, good journalism and commitment needed to facilitate the increased advocacy and policy incentives that will help keep the field moving forward.
