Dr. Carl Dieffenbach is the Director of the Division of AIDS at the US National Institutes of Health, (NIH). He oversees one of the largest research budgets in the world for HIV.
In this interview with AVAC’s Jeanne Baron, Dr. Dieffenbach explains the recent progress and upcoming HIV prevention trials, and what it will take to “put out the fire.”
