Rumbidzai focused her efforts on one of the most marginalized communities—people who use or inject drugs—conducting eight interactive literacy sessions that reached 48 individuals. She created user-friendly educational materials specifically designed to debunk myths about HIV prevention while training 11 peer educators from within the community itself.
Her use of WhatsApp discussion groups created safe spaces for participants to share experiences and ask questions. Through strategic partnerships with local healthcare clinics, Rumbidzai built sustainable connections that continue to serve her community long after her direct involvement.
