Purpose: To understand how reproductive maturation or injury alters adolescent mucosal environments at HIV susceptible sites in order to provide the safest and most efficacious biomedical prevention strategies (e.g., topical microbicides and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), etc.).
