Human Resources Coordinator

Alexa is a Human Resources Coordinator at AVAC where she works with the HR Manager to support resolution of employee- and organization-related HR issues, and coordinate activities across a variety of human resources areas, including recruiting and onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, performance management and staff development, and general human resources coordination. Since joining AVAC, Alexa has assisted in the implementation of the new HRIS and recruiting system. She has also supported the recruiting efforts that have led to hiring four additional staff that play an instrumental role in AVACs continued work.

Prior to joining AVAC, Alexa was a Talent Acquisition Specialist where she Improved the candidate experience and increased candidate satisfaction for the organization she worked for. She also leveraged recruitment technologies, such as applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate relationship management (CRM) tools, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Alexa joined AVAC in 2021, bringing a wide range of skills that touch all aspects of HR such as performance management, HR policy development, compensation and benefits, and training/development. Alexa’s hobbies include cross stitching, amateur interior design, reading, hiking, trying out new restaurants and karaoke.
