In April, Congress reauthorized PEPFAR through March 2025, far short of the 5-year reauthorization advocates had fought for, and which the program had received since its inception 20 years ago. Securing a multi-year authorization in 2025 remains the goal.
Join GAPP for a candid community assessment of the political landscape surrounding PEPFAR, and the implications of the 1-year reauthorization for all stakeholders. The webinar will seek to answer what this means in terms of:
- The sustainability roadmaps
- Implementer contracts
- Advocacy
Most of all, this discussion is intended to provide actionable steps that community advocates can take as we head into a very active fall, including the U.S. presidential election, FY25 budget negotiations, and ongoing discussions about PEPFAR’s future.
