Levi is Operations Coordinator at AVAC where he provides project management, administration and operational support to the organization. In this role, Levi supports fundraising operations, organizational risk management, strategic project management and manages the smooth operation of AVAC’s Board of Directors. Levi supports programs across the organization and major cross-collaborative initiatives including conference and meeting coordination, knowledge management and internal communications, IT security and support, development and implementation of AVAC’s shared drive, and AVAC’s Board.
Prior to joining AVAC, Levi was Support Specialist in the Center Services department at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center in New York City where he provided office management and operations support to the Center Services department. While at the Center, Levi built Center Recovery’s third-party insurance billing program and conducted billing activities to support the outpatient recovery program.
Levi joined AVAC in 2017, bringing over a decade of experience working in community-based organizations in New York. Levi holds a Bachelor’s degree from the City University of New York Hunter College where he majored in Art History.
