Grace is the Program Manager for Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning at AVAC where she supports the organizational and programmatic MEL processes and systems. In this role, Grace tracks and monitors key indicators and metrics and uses methods of qualitative analyses to summarize outcomes and illuminate learnings to help inform decision making. Since joining AVAC, Grace has supported efforts to strengthen AVACs data collection and use capacity.
Prior to joining AVAC, Grace worked as a research analyst at the University of Pittsburgh where she worked on various research projects understanding the relationship between adolescent mental health and social media usage, and assessing the landscape of health and health equity for Black women and femmes in Pittsburgh. As a research analyst, Grace managed the recruitment of participants, supported with the development of assessment tools, as well as the coding and analysis of in-depth interviews.
Grace joined AVAC in 2022, bringing experience in qualitative research and analysis through a lens of health equity and participatory practice. She holds an MPH in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences with a certificate in global health from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Public Health.
