Grace Kumwenda

Grace is a public health practitioner with fifteen years’ experience leading health programs in Malawi. Her professional experience is in HIV and key population programming, HIV prevention research advocacy and social & behavior change. She served as Chief-of-Party for the PEPFAR funded Local Endeavors for HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment (LEAP) Intervention under Pakachere Institute for Health and Development Communication. She was an AVAC Advocacy Fellow in 2017, a Perennial Leadership Fellow in 2021 and Global Change Leadership Fellow in 2015. She holds a Master of Arts degree from University of Witwatersrand and is currently studying towards a Master of Science in International Public Health. In her personal time, she loves mentoring girls and young women towards leadership.
