
Renny amplified community awareness and acceptance of injectable cabotegravir (CAB) as an HIV prevention option in Lusaka. She leveraged media campaigns to increase community awareness and championed access to CAB among young people. She conducted 12 targeted radio sessions to dispel myths and educate the public on CAB’s role in HIV prevention. Renny also engaged youth in open dialogues to understand their perceptions and promote informed choices. Drawing from these insights, she authored a powerful opinion piece titled “Scaling Access to CAB-LA for Young People in Zambia,” advocating for inclusive policies, expanded rollout, and youth-friendly services.
