Next month Dr. Anthony Fauci will step down from his role leading the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) after a half a century of public service. His vision, passion, and commitment to ending the AIDS epidemic and advancing global health equity has been an inspiration to AVAC and to so many.
