Linda led impactful HIV prevention efforts in the Naguru Go-down and Kamwokya slums of Kampala in Uganda by mapping local HIV service providers and developing a detailed list of their offerings to improve peer-led referrals. He trained 20 peer supporters on recent prevention options like the dapivirine vaginal ring and injectable cabotegravir, empowering them to lead focus group discussions intended to drive demand and uptake of HIV prevention options among young people and key populations. As a mentor, Linda continues to support peer advocates to ensure equal access and sustained uptake of HIV prevention services in these underserved communities.
