Dual Prevention Pill Program Coordinator

Tasha is the Dual Prevention Pill Program Coordinator and will support AVAC’s role as the secretariat of the DPP Consortium. She is primarily responsible for coordinating meetings and events for the Consortium; tracking, synthesizing, and disseminating information on the DPP; donor reporting; and contributing to project deliverables.

Tasha brings rich product introduction and advocacy experience to this new role! Prior to joining AVAC, she served as an Advocacy, Information, and Research Officer in the AVAC Advocacy Fellows Program, where she led a project advocating for the introduction of the Dapivirine Vaginal Ring and Cabotegravir Injectable PrEP in Zambia. She successfully met all her project’s objectives, leading to both products being approved and included in the national prevention guidelines as prevention options. She also contributed as a Global Alliance Champion and was a member of the HIV Testing Services (HTS) Community Advisory Board with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI). Tasha is an AVAC 2022 alumna and an IVLP 2024 alumna. She holds an MSc in Analytical Epidemiology and a BA in Economics, Marketing, and Psychology.
