Randy is Senior Human Resources Manager at AVAC where he manages the full spectrum of HR initiatives. In this role, Randy develops and leads staff performance and development strategies, ensures AVAC adherence to compliant and equitable employment practices, and manages AVAC’s compensation and benefits plans. Since joining AVAC, Randy has managed the development of AVAC’s Compensation Philosophy and Salary Administration Guidelines, created standardized processes for recruiting and onboarding AVAC staff members, and led updates to AVAC’s annual performance management process.
Prior to joining AVAC, Randy was the Operations Officer at the Global HIV Vaccine Enterprise where he led operational and human resources initiatives, strengthening organizational compliance, developing performance management processes and supporting Board governance practices.
Randy joined AVAC in 2019, bringing 15 years of operational, human resources and administrative experience, in both non-profit and for-profit settings.
